Sexual Harassment in India is not a very uncommon phenomena.. But what’s abnormal is the trauma the victim is put through there after. The kind of humiliation she faces after she has been raped rips her apart with more intensity than the rape itself.
The kind of questions the police, doctors and lawyers put up are a form of mental rape. Once the rape becomes public, our so called public figures (senseless figures) give their expert tips on the matter without realising the gravity and cruciality of the situation.
Go through these series of five art works that were created as a social media campaign for a class project by Himani Auplish to increase awareness among the people about the harassment after the trauma. This campaign aims at changing peoples attitude and societies out look towards sexual harassment.
